Grass...

...a simple thing, and one of the many things that I used to take for granted. After living in Jordan, with a cement floor as my backyard and NO grass to be found, it was rather refreshing to see. Micah loved running around like the crazy boy he is, chasing all the bigger kids anywhere and everywhere. I promise he thinks he is about 6 years old. He especially enjoyed watching the older boys play football-several times he tried to join in on the fun. Frisbee was a new game that he learned while in Kenya, and he still goes around our house acting like he is throwing one. He definitely got that passion from his Daddy.

Of course he had to climb a tree...with a little assistance of course :)

Micah also spent a lot of time on the playground. He learned to climb up the steps to the slide without any help (this made me a bit worried as he would often miss a step) and also to swing by himself in a "big boy" swing. He sure was proud and had to do each activity about a billion times. Ha.
Needless to say, we spent most of our free time outside in the grass, and were loving it :)

Can't wait until you move back to the states and can have your very own back yard! It's lots of fun :)
