I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane

Shortly after my family left, we were blessed by some other visitors...Paul's sweet family. His parents actually arrived earlier than expected so that they could accompany us on our trip to Ethiopia. It was so nice to have them there with us and we are so thankful that they could rearrange their busy schedules to make it happen!

Tim, Anna, and Levi arrived from Turkey early (like 1am) on Thursday morning and we couldn't wait to see them. Paul and Tim are not only brothers, but also truly best friends. It is such a special friendship that Anna and I love to watch and are thankful to be a part of. We always joke around about how we can't separate these two much longer-but there really is some truth to that! All day Paul kept reminding me (as if I had forgotten) that "Tim is coming in tonight!"-it was too cute.

Paul and I went to pick them up from the airport, with all intentions of heading back home to get some sleep before leaving for ANOTHER safari around 8:30am. But, if you know anything about these two boys, it is that once they are together they LOVE to talk and catch up-and it isn't always the quietest of talking, which is why their parents woke up. Oops :) We must have all stayed up a few more hours chatting away, but it was well worth the lack of sleep.

The next morning we packed our car and headed to the airport just down the road. We left on a small jet plane to head to the Masai Mara for a few days. We couldn't wait to get there and see more of God's incredible creation. Here we are ready to go and waiting at the airport.

Micah is obsessed with planes...

Micah and Levi. Sweet cousins and best buds already.

Lottie loving on her boys :)

Micah loves his Granddaddy and was ready to go see more "tall talls" (what he calls giraffes).
