Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day celebrating with my two kids, husband, and little sister. Since it's IMPOSSIBLE with young kids to ever go out to eat after church on Sunday, we opted to celebrate Mother's Day that night with some friends. We ate dinner and then of course had to go by my favorite yogurt place for dessert. I wished I could have been with my Mom too, but she was taking care of her sick sick Momma :( I'm continually thankful for my Mom as she has taught me what it means to be a Proverbs 31 woman who loves the Lord above all else in this world. Her selflessness, wisdom, unconditional love, and generosity are traits that I admire and pray I will develop over the years.

Micah is now at the age where he makes cute handmade gifts at school. I absolutely LOVE this, but it also makes me feel old. Ha.
