For the first time in 2 1/2 years, the ENTIRE Akin crew (now 15 of us) were able to get together. Sweet Granddaddy and Lottie rented a chalet in Gatlinburg and everyone drove on in for a memorable week. The cabin was perfect and had a gorgeous view. We enjoyed catching up, watching the kids terrorize play with one another, playing games/cards, shopping and walking around Gatlinburg. The trip flew by but thankfully we all will be together again for Thanksgiving.
Love this pic...a friend of mine pointed out that both of the babies only have one sock on. Ha. The funny thing is that we found Jordan's other sock at home in Birmingham-she had traveled the entire 5 hour road trip with only one sock on. Oopsies :)
